The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Vehicle Operations facility in York is our final assembly plant. Employees at York also perform a variety of manufacturing operations, including fabrication, welding, polishing and painting and produce a wide range of current and replacement parts for all models. Join our team as a Associate Supply Management Analyst.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the York and Thailand factory production schedules by ensuring accurate planning of materials and on-time delivery from suppliers.

Job Responsibilities

Serves as the primary interface between H-D s York and Thailand factories and an assigned group of domestic, international, or dual tier suppliers.
Manages SAP MRP system settings to ensure an adequate supply of material for factory production schedules while minimizing inventory investment and obsolescence exposure.
Collaborates with 3PL s to ensure on-time delivery and receipt of materials.
Periodically reviews safety stock strategies for assigned parts.
Leads the transition of new model parts from centralized development purchasing to local plant operations.
Manages part-level running changes by ensuring adequate supply and minimizing costs.
Processes supplier invoices in SAP.
Communicates effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience Requirements

Required-
Demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain concepts including materials planning.
Excellent problem solving, analytical, technical, and communications skills.
Willingness and skills to work effectively within a group and / or team.

Preferred-
Experience working with suppliers.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
SAP ECC and APO experience.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
Supply Chain certifications (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, CPSM, SCPro).
Motorcycle riding experience and knowledge in Harley-Davidson motorcycles and accessories.
