-Planning long and short-range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practices, and program philosophy.
Special activities, like parties for holidays and summer, should be fun, creative, and educationally stimulating.
-Keeping each child's record current, proof-reading child evaluations, updating client paperwork, taking daily kid and staff attendance, scheduling staffing, updating sign-in and pay sheets, writing monthly newsletters, holding staff meetings, processing Child Care Consultants, reviewing the emergency plan, completing staff evaluations, maintaining current staff clearances/physicals/trainings, and keeping all state regulated documents current.
-Giving tours of facilities, signing up clients, processing paperwork -Processing payments, maintaining confidentiality -Flexibility to work in any situation/role with children
Qualifications:
-Degree in either Early Childhood, Elementary Education, Human Development and Family Studies -Prior experience as an Assistant Daycare Director State Clearances to Work with Children:
FBI fingerprinting Child abuse National sex offender registry State police Physical with TB test Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
